It has both the high tensile strength and abrasion resistance of both deniers. Ballistic nylon was used in WW2 as a first attempt for a flak proof jacket. Designed specifically to reduce the effect of shrapnel piercing through soldiers. This highly advanced material is currently used for all forms of army equipment. And its extreme durability means that you will be using this for a very very long time. 

D-Ring is made from forged zinc alloy, custom designed for R-MUR. It is forged as a single piece without any gaps. This to ensure maximum resistance to shear force. Materials are attached together via metal rivet. Each piece carefully assembled by hand for precision and uniformity.
