Dog Gates & Crates

Having a puppy or a dog indoors requires a little extra training to make sure that you can leave them alone while you go to work or leave for the day. That process takes some time, and sadly, many owners just don't have enough time to train. If your dog tends to chew on furniture, your shoes, and other precious items around the house, you may want to consider getting a cage or a dog gate.

Our Singapore-based online pet store has everything you need to train your dog and make sure it's happy and healthy. If you're not from this area, we offer international shipping all over the world. That includes flea and tick protection, accessories, collars and leashes, and of course, dog cages and gates. While you might think that an indoor dog fence isn't a good idea, it will save your furniture and apartment from damage.

Dog Cages

Some dog owners keep their pets in cages while they are away at work due to many reasons. Our store offers a few different-sized dog cages designed to make it easier to look after your furry friend. These cages provide a few distinct benefits, and a few benefits you may not be aware of. For example, they allow you to transport your dog in public transportation or via car more conveniently, when they have important vet visits or when you’re going on holiday.

Most cages are collapsible, so they don't take a lot of room when empty. Some models even have built-in wheels for easier maneuvering. Naturally, they come with a removable pee tray that allows you to clean up quickly. Most cages are suitable for small to medium size dogs, but we also have big dog cages in stock.

Dog Gates

If you have a large dog, or if you don't want to keep your pet in a dog cage while you are at work, getting a dog gate is an excellent idea. Dog gates provide your pet with more room when compared to dog cages, and they block access to the rest of your home.

That way, you can make sure that your dog stays in one room while you're not at home. A dog gate is one of the most effective methods of keeping your dog away from your furniture.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Although we have a few different dog gates in our offer, the Dr Cage play pen is the best one in our stock. It's effortless to set up, and it's high enough to keep most small and medium dogs away from the rest of your home.

The first and most crucial factor to consider when buying a dog crate is the size of the dog itself. You must make sure that the top of the cage is at least 4 inches higher than your dog.

Well-designed dog crates have other useful features like two large doors, a removable pee tray, a collapsible design for easy transportation, and durable paint. Also, it's always better to get a wire cage rather than a plastic one, as it's much more durable.

The height of a dog gate depends on the size of your dog, and the breed. Most small and medium-sized dogs can't jump over a barrier that's at least 60cm tall.

However, some breeds like the Jack Russell Terrier can jump over 80cm gates without a problem. Most barriers range between 60 and 80cm, while the largest ones are above 1 meter tall. Again, make sure you consider everything before you get a gate that's too low for your needs.

Of course! Every dog needs some form of flea and tick prevention. Even if you live in an apartment, your dog can get infected by coming in contact with a dog that already has fleas. Regular bathing and a spray, or a collar, should be all the protection you and your dog need.
