1. The below feeding guidelines, developed by our nutritionist, is an estimate of the amount to feed your puppy.
2. The guidelines is only a recommendation and other variables such as age, activeness may affect. We recommend to observe and adjust as needed.
3. Unlike many brands around which provide a generic standardised feeding guidelines regardless of meat, our feeding guidelines is tailored to cater for different nutrition levels in the different meats.
4. How to read the feeding guidelines: E.g. For Puppy Chicken - If the average weight of an Adult Golden Retriever is 32kg and your Golden Retriever Puppy is 12kg. Refer to the <50% adult weight table and find your puppy weight (11-15kg), which gives you approximately 600-800g of food per day
-
How To Feed:
1. Transfer the next day’s pack of food from the freezer to the fridge to thaw overnight.
2. You can then choose to serve it chilled or warm up the food (releases more aroma) before feeding. To serve warm, you can either place the pack in a bowl of hot water (not boiling) before serving or pour hot water (not boiling) directly to the bowl of food.
3. If you have forgotten to thaw the food, you may also place the frozen pack in a bowl of hot water (not boiling) for 20 minutes before serving.
How To Transit:
When switching your dog to a new food, we recommend doing it gradually. Switching your dog’s food too quickly could lead to vomiting or diarrhea.
Gradually add Providog to your dog’s current
daily portion in this ratio:
Day 1-2: 25% Providog mixed with 75% old food
Day 3-4: 50% Providog mixed with 50% old food
Day 5-6: 75% Providog mixed with 25% old food
Day 7+: 100% Providog
