It serve the intent very well. So far, have used it 3x and it does keeps the body pretty dry when the rain is not pouring. The overall sizing is a little bigger but that is great for more coverage, the only thing is the collar runs around a little since it is loose, I wonder if there is some way to secure to the collar might help.. The hind legs rubber strip could use a some kind of draw string stopper to allow owners to adjust for better hold.
There is no issue with peeing and pooping, the parting at the butt is perfect.
Overall, I am happy with the decision to buy Ruffwear Sun shower raincoat, a ted bit expensive though.
I would recommend anyone to give it a try, if your dog is outdoor pee & poop trained.
