    • Looking at the chart, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Eagle Pack believes in feeding dry and wet food in combination whenever possible to help increase the level of water in your dog’s diet. Every dog is different so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed and environment. Please use this information as an initial recommendation only and adjust as needed.

      Weight Daily Feeding (Cups)
      5 - 10 LBS 1/2 - 1
      10 - 20 LBS 1 - 1 2/3
      30 - 40 LBS 2 1/4 - 2 3/4
      50 - 60 LBS 3 1/4 - 3 3/4
      70 - 80 LBS 4 1/4 - 4 2/3
      80 - 100 LBS 4 2/3 - 5 1/2

Dogs over 100 lbs: Add approximately 1/2 cup for every 10 lbs over 100 lbs

Combination Feeding: If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount fed by 1/3 cup for every 6.0 oz of wet food.

For Puppies: After weaning, puppies should be fed 2 or 3 times per day. Growing puppies require up to twice as much as adult dogs of the same weight.

Pregnant or Nursing Dogs: When pregnant, feed up to 50% more food according to body weight at 1 year old. For nursing dog, allow her to eat at will.

Although transition to the new Eagle Pack formula is not necessary, we recommend mixing the old and new formula for a period of about one week whenever possible.
