K9 Natural Lamb Green Tripe Freeze Dried Dog Food is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only as a complementary pet food for dogs. Feed as a singular meal, supplement with other raw diets, treats, or for transition from kibble to raw. If using K9 Natural Lamb Green Tripe Freeze Dried Dog Food as the sole food for a given day, feed using the guidelines in the table. Decrease proportionally with the amount of other raw foods fed, including raw, meaty bones.
Reconstitute K9 Freeze Dried with warm water (no warmer than 98.6°F/37°C) before feeding. We also highly recommend you do not mix this diet with a cooked diet (kibble) and allow the dog 12 hours without food when transferring from cooked (kibble) to this diet.
To make 3.5 oz of ready-to-serve K9 Natural Green Tripe:
Using the scoop provided, place 0.7 oz (approximately 2.5 level scoops) of Freeze Dried K9 Natural Green Tripe into a bowl, add up to 2.7 fl oz (approximately 1.8 scoops) of warm water (no warmer than 98.6°F/37°C), stir, then feed.
With K9 Natural Freeze Dried, you do not need to wait for the food to completely absorb all the moisture.
Feeding recommendations are a guide only. The figures are based on feeding 2% of bodyweight per day. Your dog may require more or less than this amount based on its age, activity level, and other factors. Puppies, for example, require 6% per day, very active dogs may require 3% per day and overweight or senior dogs may require 1% per day.
