Keep frozen
Be sure to keep raw food portions frozen until ready for thawing.
Defrost properly
Place required portions of frozen raw food in the fridge and allow time for defrosting. If required sooner, place in hot water to thaw but not cook.
Storage and safety
Keep thawed patties in the fridge for no longer than 48 hours and do not cook them as our recipes contain bone.
Wash well
Thoroughly wash all utensils, work areas, and hands with warm soapy water after contacting raw food.

Well packed and easy to thaw and feed. No bloody smell compared to other brands. However, noticed the dogs pooping a lot more often while on Big Dog but it is less smelly.
Comes to us very well packed. Meat remains fresh when served to my doggy.
My 1 year old lab absolutely loves these patties! She was dealing with a lot of food allergies (chicken, etc.), but switching to kangaroo has solved all those issues! Switching to raw has made her fur shiny and soft, plus her poop is less smelly too :) It's convenient to thaw, just make sure to put it in the fridge 24 hours before you feed it. It's also better to cut it into chunks so they don't swallow the patty whole (I learnt the hard way!).

Have been using the kangaroo raw diet for my big SS who has since many years kidney issues which we keep well under control with this diet. He loves it.
My 2 girls have always been raw diet. The food is freshly delivered. No foul smell. Each pack is very tightly and well sealed which is very important.
My senior is diabetic and struggling to find him good protein only diet is key to maintaining his health. The frozen kangaroo meat delights his day. He takes it 4x a day broken to small meals, ever since we started on this he can’t let the kitchen out of his sight!
